Mother Willie Mae Dossie Thomas, 84 of Panama City, FL slipped into the arms of eternity on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Panama City, Fl... She was a retired educator. She taught grade kindergarten for over 30 years at Highland Park Elementary School, Panama City, Florida. She was a member of 2nd Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Phi Delta Kappa Eastern Stars and a member of New Gulf Coast Association for Ministers Wives and Widows. She was preceded in death by her spouse Reverend Arthur Thomas; her parents Wilson Sr. and Minner Dossie; her sister Dorothy Wilson and her brother Wilson Dossie, Jr... She is survived by her daughter Pequetta McCray Freeman; a grandson Thomas Freeman II; four sisters and two brothers. Homegoing Services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, followed by a burial at Gardens of Memories both locations in Panama City, Fl. Mother Thomas will lie in state Monday, January 10, 2022, at Pasco Gainer Sr. Funeral Chapel in Panama City, Fl from 5pm-7pm.
