Rudolph A. "Rudy" Buchanan, 71, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2021.

He was born on April 18, 1950 in Whitehouse, Westmoreland, Jamaica. He loved to fish, cook and spend time with family and friends.

Rudolph is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Buchanan and Alvira Rowe, and brother Oliver Buchanan. He is survived by his brothers, Unitie Buchanan and Tommy Buchanan; sisters: Bernice "Pansy" Buchanan, Olivene "Pixie" Joyce Patrick (Buchanan), and Beverly "Crescent" Elaine Samuels; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended, loving family.

Left to treasure Rudolph's memory is the mother of his five children, Olivena Buchanan; five children: Sophia Lewis (Buchanan), Paul Buchanan, Janice Roberts (Buchanan), Suzette Buchanan, and Simone Buchanan; and grandchildren: Nicole Wyatt, Zhakori Lewis, Jacquez Robinson, Zhakwon Lewis, Malik Buchanan, Davante Buchanan, Marcus Buchanan, Alicia Buchanan and Jahmari Buchanan.

A public viewing will be held on Friday,October 1, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at Pasco Gainer Sr. Funeral Home. A celebration of Rudolph's life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm at New Beginnings Assembly of The Saints Church. Interment will follow at Kent-Forest Lawn Cemetery.
