We the management and staff announce the passing of Mrs. Pequetta Yvette McCray Freeman, 67 of Panama City, FL... Pequetta slipped into the arms of eternity on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in Panama City, FL... She was a retired educator, who taught grades kindergarten through fifth grade within over 30 years of service with Bay County Schools. She was an Administrator for five years. Pequetta was a member of Second Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church; a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and she served in various positions inside The New Gulf Coast Association. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry C. McCray Jr. and Willie Mae Dossie McCray Thomas. Pequetta is survived by her son: Thomas Freeman II; Two Sisters in Christ: Edith Potter and Dorothy Reed; Four Aunts and Two Uncles and a Host of loving relatives and friends. Public visitations will be held Monday, May 9, 2022, at Pasco Gainer Sr. Funeral Chapel, 915 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Panama City, FL. 32401 from 5pm-7pm (CST).
