James Thomas "Buck/Jim" Barnes, Jr. passed on May 1, 2023, in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Loretta Comer-Barnes, and two children, Janice T. Orr-Barnes, and James Thomas Barnes III. Service will be held at 11: 00 AM (CST), Saturday, May 13, 2023, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1942 East 7th Street, Panama City, Florida. A public visitation will be held on May 12, 2023, Friday, from 4 PM – 7 PM at Pasco Gainer Sr. Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Florida.
