We respectfully announce the passing of Jack E. Covington, 53, of Panama City, FL. Jack slipped into the arms of eternity, Friday, June 25 in Panama City, FL.

He was born to Charles and Sarah Covington on August 23, 1967. Jack is survived by his love of 30 years, Sharon Anderson Bobbitt; brother, Fred Covington; uncle, Horace Covington; aunt, Pat Leggett of Enterprise, AL; and numerous cousins. Jack had no children, but loved and cared for Sharon's children and grandchildren; James C Newton and Ashley Summers were his pride and joy.

Jack was a master carpenter and loved building. He enjoyed hunting, watching westerns, and loved when the grandchildren would visit. He recently started working at Southern Cat where he made new friends who made his job fun. Most of all, he enjoyed his time with Sharon whom he made smile everyday.
