Missionary Georgie B. Lee was born in West Point, Georgia, on March 2, 1937, to the late Louis and Alice Billingsley. Missionary Lee met and married the late Wilmar Lee Sr. As a young adult, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Saint Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Eddie Mccray. Mother Georgie served as a faithful member and was an ordained missionary. She continued to walk faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Dempsey until her transition.
Missionary Lee was well known for her giving heart and her love for people. She was a woman of great faith and firmly believed in the power of prayer. She stood on the word of God daily and encouraged others to do the same. She always said, "It's in God's hands."
Missionary Lee leaves to cherish her precious memories. Her children, Wilmar Jr.., (Albertina) Lee. Elizabeth Blakely, Shirley Lee, Charles (Lynnlea ) Lee, Kent Lee, and Effie Lee.
Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren, Tony, Kendall, Henry, Jason, Eddie, Clemetra (Trevino), Jeremy, Wilmar III, Jasmine (Marques) Joyce, Keneshia, Thomas, Travis, Willie, Ariana, Kentrell, Elizabeth, Angelica, Sharita, Jolon, 57 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews' family.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 4 PM-7 PM at Pasco Gainer Sr. Funeral Home Chapel, 915 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Panama City, Florida 32401.
